Jahlil Beats Academy
Are you 14–17 years old with an interest in getting into the music industry as a career?
The Jahlil Beats Academy (JBA) is an innovative youth education initiative founded by Grammy Award–winning producer and entrepreneur Jahlil Beats. This six-week summer experience is designed for young people ages 14–17 who live in Philadelphia and are passionate about music, creativity, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Hands-on training with studio-grade equipment and industry-standard software, taught by experienced producers, creative professionals, and guest instructors—emphasizing discipline, originality, and technical excellence.
Instruction includes:
- Beat making and composition
- Audio engineering and studio workflow
- Songwriting and creative collaboration
- Business fundamentals such as branding, intellectual property, and digital distribution
