Brown's Family ShopRite is a family owned and operated supermarket chain of 10 stores located in Philadelphia, PA and its surrounding communities. The owner and CEO is Jeffrey Brown. Brown's was started in 1988 with the purchase of their store in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Brown has focused his business growth in the Philadelphia area.

Over the last three years, Brown's has been involved with local non-profit organizations to improve the access of food in low-income communities. Brown's Super Stores is a member of the Wakefern Food Corporation which has grown into the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States and one of the largest employers in New Jersey. The cooperative is comprised of 45 members who individually own and operate supermarkets under the ShopRite banner. Today, Wakefern, the merchandising and distribution arm of the company, and the more than 200 ShopRite stores located throughout New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland employ more than 50,000 people.
